New owner of INSANE

After the ORI Struts Cup in Bikini Bottoms 2022, Svanur Örn Tómasson announced he will be retiring from Formula Offroad  for good. He posted in the facebook group “Formula Offroad Enthusiasts”  or “Torfæruáhugamenn” that he had sold the car and will only be a spectator from now on. He said “…a little regret, but happy to get more time to take care of my other hobbies”. 

Couple days later, Aron Ingi Svansson, announced he had bought the car from his father and will be replacing the LS7 with a Hellcat motor. He stated he will try his absolute best to fill his dad’s race boots and continue on with the show Insane is known for. 

Aron has been racing on Storm (Stormur) since 2018 and on Zombie before that. We will see Aron on Insane on Hella next season, but we will truly miss seeing Svanur behind the wheel.. but it sure is in the genes so Aron will have no problem keeping up the show 😉
