Thank you all for an amazing weekend!!

Thank you all for an amazing weekend at Bikini Bottoms!! The race in total was a nail-biter until the very end. We thank the owners of the park, Bob and Pam Williams, for letting us tear up the dirt and entertain the public!

We thank all media persons that came all the way over to Bikini Bottoms to film and photograph the crazy show the drivers put on. We especially thank our Icelandic media folk for following us all the way to the U.S.

And last but not at all least we thank the Volunteer Rescue Team Hella (Flugbjorgunaraveitin Hellu) for their undying dedication and hard work they did to keep the ball rolling and aking the race run smoothly! With them we know our drivers are in safe hands. Better recovery team cannot be found!

In the first round Magnus Sigurdsson, driver of CUBE, stood up as the winner with Thor Thormar Pálsson on THOR second and Ingolfur Gudvardarson on GUTTINN REBORN in third.

The second round was no different. The battle for the gold was incredible and the thirst for first place did not go unnoticed. Atli Jamil on THUNDERBOLT took first place after the day with Geir Evert Grímsson on THE SLEDGEHAMMER behind him in second and Haukur Vidar Einarsson on HEKLA in third.

In the 2018 USA Cup Magnus Sigurdsson stood up as the winner with the highest total points. Atli Jamil was in second only 5 points behind him and in third Ingolfur Gudvardarson in third only 29 points behind Magnus. Big shoutout to the other teams as well that came with us to the US. We wish them all congratulations on this remarkable success and wish them the very best in the future!

Saturday evening the drivers had the chance to set a new world record skimming over 100m long water. They all had couple of attempt to break the record and surely our own THOR went the fastest at 99,7 km/h (62 mph).

We also want to give a huge shoutout to Clyde Bynum and the Southern Rock Racing Series for their help hosting this event and broadcasting it live.

There are so many people that helped us little Icelanders come over to America and let us play in the dirt. We are so grateful for their work and couldn’t imagine doing this without them, so thank you. And to all the spectators that made their way to Dyersburg, we are more than grateful you all showed up and cheered us on the whole weekend! We truly live for the applause!

Massive shoutout to our partners that helped up host the event! ORI Struts, RCV Performance, Eimskip, Superjeep.is, Gastec and Bílanaust and Basic Maintenance Truck Center. With their support we were able to make this event bigger and better than before and cannot wait to work with them more in the future!
