NEZ Cup 2022 in Akureyri, Iceland!

The NEZ (Northern European Zone) Cup will be held by Bílaklúbbur Akureyrar in Iceland this year, the weekend July 30th – 31st.

The NEZ Cup is a two day race where the Formula Offroad racers compete to be the NEZ Cup Champion. There are 12 tracks total, 6 on Saturday and 6 on Sunday. At the end of the race on Sunday, the competitor that has the most points total stands out as winner and is the NEZ Champion of 2022. We will see all our favourite Icelandic cars and perhaps get to know some new ones as the racers from Scandinavia are invited, and we sure are hopeful to see them again this year.

The location of the race is on Akureyri which is up north in Iceland. During this weekend the town is hosting their outdoor festival called “Ein með Öllu”. So what better way to spend your weekend! Formula Offroad during the day then a festival throughout the night! Sign me up!
